General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Information Session, hosted by AIAA

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems is inviting all interested students to a virtual information session this Tuesday, September 7th at 5 pm. The session, hosted by AIAA, will feature speaker Eric Killian, an engineer at GA-ASI and also a Michigan Aerospace graduate.

Eric graduated from Michigan in 2017 with his bachelor’s in Aero and in 2018 with his master’s in Aero through SUGS. He had two internships with General Atomics ASI between his junior/senior year and his senior/grad year, both with the Predator C / Avenger team, and currently works as a system test and qualification engineer on the MQ-9 Predator B / Reaper, supporting AFSOC (Air Force Special Operations Command). He works primarily on the critical systems of the MQ-9, which primarily is the software behind the autopilot, electrical systems, fuel, control surfaces, etc. He is qualified as a test director by the USAF and has conducted several flight test events for multiple programs.
