Partners Capital West Coast Internship Discussion

Partners Capital Investment Group (“Partners Capital”) is a global outsourced investment office serving investment professionals, endowments, foundations, and high net-worth families by providing independent investment management across all asset classes and geographic markets.

The firm was founded in 2001 by investment professionals seeking an independent and conflict-free adviser to provide portfolio construction andrigorous analysis of investment opportunities. From its initial focus as the "money managers to the money managers" with a base of 70 clients, Partners Capital has grown to become an adviser to endowments and foundationsas well as prominent family offices and successful entrepreneurs across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia. Our clients include senior partners at leading firms such as Bain Capital, Blackstone, Apax, and Summit Partners, as well as executives, entrepreneurs and institutions including severalOxford and Cambridge University college endowments, INSEAD business school, and other respected endowments and charitable foundations.

Partners Capital Investment Group is seeking a talented Investment Intern to joinour newly established West Coast team, located in San Francisco. The Investment Intern will be a part of a diverse group that now requires severaladditional team players who are eager to learn and help the West Coast office achieve its ambitious goals.

The Investment Internship requires someone who will be comfortable in our entrepreneurial environment as we develop our business, combined with the analytical and creative strengths required to implement our investment strategy. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to think critically, and an execution-oriented, positive attitude are key attributes. Excellent written and verbal communication competencies are required for interacting with clients, third parties, and firm leadership.

Client Portfolio Management (50%): The Investment Internwill form part of the team that serves as an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) for clients and will support investment strategy developmentand portfolio management. Key responsibilities include:

• Support management of clients’ balance sheets, preparing asset allocation analyses, and investment recommendations
• Assist in the preparation of client materials covering portfolio performance, asset allocation, investment recommendations, and macroeconomic outlook

Business Development (50%): The Investment Intern will partner with the West Coast team to lead a business development project that supports Partners Capital’s efforts to grow our lines of business and enhance our competitive positioning relative to our peers. Key responsibilities include:

• Support preparation of pitch materials, including helping with analysis to evaluate existing portfolios
• Assist with researching, identifying, and tracking prospective clients, and engaging in networking opportunities
• Conduct background research and support preparation for upcoming meetings with prospective clients

Qualifications:
1) Minimum GPA: 3.6
2) Entrepreneurialdrive, comfort with uncertainty, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and resilience
