This is a two-hour virtual open house event dedicated to gaining a better understanding of the requirements and materials needed for a successful application to graduate school. Graduate Office representatives will be available during the first session to respond to questions about the application submission, as well as the program expectations and requirements. The second session will feature a panel of faculty who have reviewed thousands of applications and will discuss what the committees are looking for in future candidates. Faculty will also discuss the unique aspectsof the Scripps Research graduate school experience. Finally, a panel of current Scripps Research grad students will present in the third session of this event with tips on how to craft your application, write a strong research statement, and answer interview questions.
