National Student Data Corps - Data Science Career Panel - October 29, 2021 at 3-4pm ET
Please join us for the National Student Data Corps (NSDC) - formerly known as the Northeast Student Data Corps - Data Science Career Panel taking place virtually on Friday, October 29h at 3:00 to 4:00pm ET. This event is for students and educators interested in learning more about exciting new data science careers, internships, and education opportunities from industry professionals, students and educators. You don't need to be in data science to join us!
Our panelists on October 29th will be:
- Asya Spears, who is known as the Chief Encouraging Officer of data. She is founder of Rose Data Studio, a data literacy and storytelling consulting agency for Black female data analysts and public healthcare professionals.
- Yoni Malchi, Managing Director in World Wide Technology’s (WWT) Business and Analytics Advisors practice and the Head of their AI Research & Development program. Prior to WWT, Yoni was at JPMorgan Chase and The Aerospace Corporation.
- Brandon Sepulvado, a data scientist at NORC at the University of Chicago, with specialties in natural language processing and network analysis. Prior to this role, he wasat the Sorbonne in Paris, France.
Our panel moderator is Haleigh Stewart, a Senior at Columbia University.
