How to Navigate Your Career: A Conversation with Women in Tech at PDT Partners

Starting a career within tech and curious about how to jump start your career?

Join our all-women panel where we’ll debunk common misconceptions and share experiences to help grow your career in tech. We’ll get specific on how to highlight your strengths, raise your visibility, and strategically start your career from negotiating your first offer to finding mentorship.

A recruiter will also be on deck to provide an insider’s perspective on hiring best practices and will answer anything recruiting related. We’ll have the chat open during the webinar for you to ask our panelists questions.

Meet our panelists:

• Winnie Yang– Executive Director, Trading Model Implementation
Winnie received her Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. During her undergraduate program, she completed six internships in various industries before deciding what she wanted to pursue full-time. She worked in Credit Derivates Technology at Morgan Stanley for threeyears before joining our technology community in 2011.

• Jingyuan Wang – Associate, Trading Platform
Jing received her bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University. She joined PDT as SoftwareEngineer Intern in 2019 before joining our technology community full-timein 2020.

• Katie Zhao – Vice President, Recruiting
Katie manages Research and DEI recruitment at PDT. Prior to PDT, she was responsible for hiring experienced and new grads for quantitative research and technology at HBK Capital Management and KCG now Virtu Financial.

• Anjali Malipatil – Head of Philanthropy and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Anjali graduated from Northwestern University. She started her career as a science teacher and later, worked in development at a number of education nonprofits in NYC. After earning her MBA from NYU’s Stern School ofBusiness, she joined PDT Partners.
