Join us to discuss a common undergrad dilemma: "Should I go tograduate school or enter industry when I graduate?" This talk will focus specifically on mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of Virginia and about different aspects of entering both industry or graduateschool -- and what may be the best fit for you.
You will get a glimpseof the research performed at various graduate labs across campus and given information about lab position openings.
The discussion will be hosted by Cori Espelien, who graduated with a B.S. in biomedical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, then worked as a process engineer at a medical device company. Cori is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Virginia Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and actively involved in departmental recruitment, including diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
