For the first time, Anderson and Conforth survivors of sexual misconduct and the attorney for Philbert survivors will speak out together to address the indifference the University of Michigan has demonstrated towards sexual assault victims and to propose changes for a safer community.
The University of Michigan has continued to allow predators with known misconduct reports to continue in their positions and prey on additional students and staff. If you're concerned about the number of cases—Philbert, Anderson, Conforth, Daniels, etc.—and want to learn more and to support survivors, please join us for this special event.
Featured panelists include Isabelle Brourman (U-M alum 2015; advocate and organizer for sexual misconduct reform; survivor of assault by Lecturer Bruce Conforth); Jon Vaughn (U-M student 1988-1990; survivor of assault by Dr. Bob Anderson; Chuck Christian (U-M alum 1982; survivor of assault by Dr. Bob Anderson; Tad DeLuca, U-M alum 1976; survivor of assault by Dr. Bob Anderson; Mr. DeLuca wrote a nine-page letter to then-coach Bill Johannesen in 1975 reporting the Anderson examinations as inappropriate; and Sarah Prescott (founding partner of Salvatore, Prescott, Porter & Porter and attorney for eight survivors of former Provost Martin Philbert).
