OHEI Community Conversation: Anti-Racism: A Conversation - Part 2
Community Conversations is an opportunity for faculty, staff and student to come together bi-weekly to engage on meaningful ways to increase belonging at Michigan Medicine. We feel that it is important to carve out space for dialogue, provide support for one another, promote self-care, and share valuable resources. The sessions are designed for space to hear your voice and all are welcome!
This program is a continuation of the Community Conversation that took place on September 23. We will utilize the results of our polling from the earlier session as the foundation of our conversation on Anti-Racism. Topics will include the need and ideas for structural change and what we can do to help people feel empowered and supported.
Panelists:
Michael Herrington - Training Specialist Lead - Office for Health Equity and Inclusion
Kristen Howard - Senior Director - Office for Health Equity and Inclusion
Tonya Kneff-Chang - Research Fellow, Educational Studies, School of Education
Steven A. Vinson - UMMG Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager
