Little Star That Could
This is a story about Little Star, an average yellow star in search of planets of his own to protect and warm. Along the way, he meets other stars, learns what makes each star special, and discovers that stars combine to form star clusters and galaxies. Includes an abbreviated star talk. Suitable for PreK-2nd grade.
The state-of-the-art Planetarium & Dome Theater at the U-M Museum of Natural History transports visitors beyond distant stars and deep into the ocean from the comfort of reclining seats. Tickets $8. Tickets are available on the day of the show at the Museum Store.
The planetarium is operating at less than 50% capacity to maximize distancing between viewers. As with all University of Michigan buildings, masks are required.
