APL Women in Technology (AWiT) is pleased to invite you to this year’s Virtual College Visit Days. Attendees can look forward to hearing from technical leaders across disciplines speak to their work, their backgrounds, and their experience at APL. There will also be virtual tours of some of APL’s premier lab and collaboration spaces, and discussionof larger topics like innovation. Each day closes with a networking session that gives attendees the opportunity to meet and connect with APL staffand other students. The speakers and topics each day are unique, so students are encouraged to attend both days.
APL is a University Affiliated Research Center in Laurel, MD that has over 7,500 staff working to provide critical contributions and innovations to our sponsors across mission areas. APL’s leaders, engineers, scientists, computer scientists, mathematicians, analysts, and other STEM professionals regularly make impactful contributions to the worlds of cyber operations, missile defense, commercial space, homeland security, national security, national health, and precision strike with growing interest and capability in areas like climate change and biological sciences.
