U-M students interested in international policy, human rights, migration, foreign affairs and state department please join us.
National Museum of American Diplomacy and the Weiser Diplomacy Center will host a virtual simulation on an international migration crisis facilitated by Sonia Urbom, Senior Advisor for Education Programs at the National Museum of American Diplomacy. In this hypothetical simulation focused on international migration crisis, human rights and border security, students will take on the roles of key stakeholders as they negotiate a diplomatic resolution to the current crisis and the factors that led to it. The exercise will develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, persuasive communication, and global competence.
