Internapalooza is back! The First Branch Intern Project invites all current and prospective Congressional interns to join us for the next installment of our free orientation and welcome event. Sessions taught by current and former Congressional staff, Congressional interns, and subject matter experts will cover why a Congressional internship is a worthwhile step in your career, landing your first internship, and the skills you’ll need to make the most of your internship experience, including:

1. Making a good impression as an intern
2. Professional etiquette for Congress
3. Making sure your internship supports your long-term goals (orsetting those goals if you haven’t already!)
4. Networking and team-building opportunities,

And much more. Attendees described the Fall 2021 Internapalooza event as…
“A great opportunity to get to know other interns in a world that may feel big and overwhelming when first stepping into it!”

“Very useful information to apply to your own internship experience, especially if you don't have much experience in a political space, as an intern, or just in general. Information from Intern-a-palooza can be used as transferable info across different platforms, internships, etc.”

“Internapalooza is a very intuitive and accessible event for interns who may feel overwhelmed about this new journey!”

“A great orientation that actually prepares you for an internship on the Hill.”
