RSM Inclusion Webcast Series: Identity and belonging: “Say this, not that” inclusive language
RSM employee network group (ENG) members are excited to present a courageous conversation for students, answering your toughest and most vulnerable questions around inclusive language! Then, consider joining us for a careers and culture open house!
Do you ever feel like or question whether your words are a window to your own bias or aren’t sure whatto say at all? Language is both a mirror and a force, constantly reflecting and influencing our actions, attitudes, and beliefs. Language and its interpretation can also reflect good intention and our commitments to personal growth.
This session focuses on leading practices for inclusive language, working through commonplace words, terms and phrases that may be discriminatory or exclusionary and their alternatives.
Immediately following the webcast, students interested in career opportunities with RSM will be able to engage directly with our professionals and recruiters, while also learning more about RSM’s ENGs at a virtual open house.
