Monique Honaman (Psychology ‘90) has over 30 years experience in leadership in the Human Resources industry. Throughout her career, Monique has remained open to exploring new career paths and timely opportunities that have taken her from MSU’s Human Resources program to Albany Law School; from Michigan to Georgia; from leadership development to Founding Partner. Find out why an LSA undergraduate, who was on the pre-med track up until her senior year, chose a completely unrelated career and learn more about the circuitous path she’s taken that has gotten her to where she is now. About Monique Honaman:
Monique Honaman is the Chief Human Resources Officer at International Market Centers (IMCenters.com).Their chief purpose is to facilitate the wholesale buying across all distribution channels in the gift, furniture, home décor, rug and apparel markets as the world’s largest operator of premier physical and digital showroom spaces. Monique also serves as the Executive Sponsor for the IMC Diversity and Inclusion Network. Prior to joining IMC, Monique was the Founding Partner and CEO of ISHR Group. Founded in 1999, ISHR Group provided executive assessment, development and coaching services globally. Her past roles include HR positions with General Electric and General Motors. Monique holds a JD from Albany Law School, an MLIR from Michigan State, and an AB in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is a graduate of Leadership Georgia (2018) and Leadership Atlanta (2016). Active in the community and passionate about her philanthropic work, Monique presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. Monique lives in Atlanta with her husband and their three rescue dogs.
