Pro Football Hall of Fame "Before the Snap" ft. Jon Kendle
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is proud to offer a series for learners in high school, college and beyond! “Before the Snap” gives an insight to professional careers in and around the NFL, while giving a live audience the opportunity to interact with an industry expert. On Friday, February 18th, 2022 at 12:00pm ET special guest Jon Kendle will be onhand to speak on his career, what he does in his current position and much more!!
Jon Kendle is a unique blend of archivist, librarian, technologist, and football encyclopedia. He has years of experience building,managing, and scaling content and metadata archives and systems. Jon hasmanaged the organization, preservation and dissemination of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's archives collection for over five years. He has developed nomenclature used in tagging metadata and produced content and data used for a variety of Hall of Fame platforms. He has a proven track record of helping users browse, search, and access large catalog offerings. His passion for football and storytelling has helped the Hall of Fame grow itsmission and its brand. The Hall of Fame's Archives Collection has seen tremendous growth under Jon's supervision. He manages general operations of the archives, develops archival and library collections, works with donors to facilitate donations of archival materials, provides research assistance to the staff, public and Hall of Fame partners. He also hosts public and private events at the Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center that result in both partnerships and sponsorships.
We will be streaming the program LIVE on the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Facebook page and will take questions from schools and students across thecountry throughout the program. To participate, all you will need to do is:
