New AEROSP X88 Course series available starting Fall 2022
Interested in gaining the skills and experiences to become a true systems thinker and manage complex engineering projects?
Check out the new AEROSP x88 Course Series!
Starting in fall 2022, the Aerospace Engineering Department is launching a new 3-course series: AEROSP 288, 388, & 488. These courses teach the tools and processes of model-based systems engineering (MBSE), complex product development, and project leadership precisely as they are deployed in industry. Students will apply the learnings from lecture and an MBSE lab sequence to hands-on projects and will collaborate with industry professionals from companies like Siemens, Collins Aerospace, Leidos, and Blue Origin. This is a revolutionary course series in the undergraduate engineering curriculum and is unparalleled in any undergraduate curriculum across the country.
The completion of the 3-course series will automatically make you eligible for an INCOSE systems engineering certification, which you can include on your resume and share with industry recruiters.
Students from all majors and ages are encouraged to attend the information session being held Wednesday March 9th 6:00-7:30 pm EST in BEYST 1670 to learn more about course content, projects, and benefits.
Seats for the x88 course series will be limited by available lab capacity. Enrollment will thus be by instructor permission, and students will be chosen primarily from those who fill out this interest form. Following the meeting, the presentation materials and recording will be shared with those who complete the interest form. If you are interested, please do complete the form by Friday, March 18.
