An Intro into Career Exploration: What’s Good with the Hub?!

Have you heard about the LSA Opportunity Hub? Want to know how to harness the power of your DAAS or LSA degree towards your career interests? The Hub has teamed up with the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies and the Black Student Union to bring you this student-led informational session. Students will learn why employers are eager to hire liberal arts grads and the many ways the Hub — through internships, job shadowing, workshops, networking events, professional coaching — can serve you as you work on one of the most important projects of your life: forming your professional identity and exploring your career aspirations. Students will hear from multiple voices within the Hub, DAAS and BSU as they share helpful resources such as the college’s LSA Connect mentorship platform, scholarships for internships, and how to nab transformative work experiences.
