BLI Speaker Series with Rhonda Magee
In this BLI Speaker Series event, Professor Rhonda Magee will draw on both interdisciplinary research and 20+ years of scholarship, teaching and practice to explain the key benefits of integrating embodied mindfulness -- compassion-based mindfulness teachings and practices -- into the work of fostering equity and inclusion in this time. Professor Magee will outline ways in which doing so promises not only to deepen inclusivity and equity, but also to enhance healing from trauma and promote personal and collective wellbeing. A short, interactive practice will be included.

Hosted in partnership with Wolverine Wellness, the Department of Psychology, and the Rackham Graduate School.
