Transatlantic Relations and the Challenges the E.U. is facing right now will be the main topic of the conversation organized but the Weiser Diplomacy Center and the Weiser Center for Europe & Eurasia with the Belgian Ambassador to the U.S. Jean-Arthur Regibeau and Belgium Consul General Frank Geerkens, moderated by Professor John Ciorciari, director of the International Policy Center and the Weiser Diplomacy Center and Professor Geneviève Zubrzycki , director of Weiser Center for Europe & Eurasia.

From Speaker's Bios

Jean-Arthur Régibeau, the Belgium Ambassador to the U.S. represents His Majesty The King of the Belgians and Belgium’s federal government in the United States of America and in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. He is responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including bilateral political and economic relations, visa and consular services. Ambassador Régibeau joined the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998. In 2016, he took up his role as Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Armenia, Belarus & Uzbekistan. Frank Geerkens is the Consul General at Consulate General of Belgium in New York, representing Belgium in 23 states and 2 counties since February 2019. For his accomplished career in Belgian foreign service please see his bio here.
