Through performing the results of a survey, Riot Youth's Gayrilla Theater Troupe aims to shed light on what it's like to be queer in Washtenaw community high schools. Drag King Rebellion is a local gender performance troupe whose goal is to entertain while educating audiences with socio-politically conscious performances about gender.
Riot Youth and DKR are performing as part of a larger, weekend conference on activism called "Bring it Back, Take it Forward," celebrating 50 years of activism in Ann Arbor. Please join us for what is sure to be a memorable performance by Riot Youth and DKR!
