Bible Translation Among Displaced People Groups

Today at least 1,800 people groups still don’t have access to God’s Word, and many of these people are located in places where missionaries cannot go. But God is at work through diaspora communities!

Diaspora are displaced people groups who settle outside of their homeland and include people like immigrants and refugees. Join us at our five-day, online workshop “Bible Translation Among Displaced People Groups” to learn how God is using displaced peoples to reach their communities worldwide with his Word.

In this workshop, you’ll learn key practices for Bible translation among displaced peoples, hear inspiring stories of God’s faithfulness in countries where missions work isn’t accepted and learn about the joys and challenges of working among people who do not have Scripture in their own languages. You’ll also learn how English as a second language (ESL) classes and teaching English as a second language (TESOL)are opening doors and discover how your skill set can make a difference.

“Bible Translation Among Displaced People Groups” will help you walk away with a new vision of how God might be calling you to get involved in the global Bible translation movement.
