Virtual Interview Event: Sterile Processing Tech & Instrument Tech- Rochester, MN - $500 Sign On Bonus
We are hosting a virtual interview day on Wednesday, May 4th from 8 am to 6:30 pm CST. Mayo Clinic is currently hiring Sterile Processing Techs & Instrument Techs to join our team at St. Mary's & Rochester Methodist Hospitals in Rochester, MN.
As a Sterile Processing Tech, youwill be responsible for:
*Cleaning, disinfecting, preparation, processing and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical supplies and equipment.
*Performing technical details according to written policies and procedures.
*Maintaining expertise in all aspects of area activities.
*Monitoring QA/QC activities and physical environment.
*Participating in continuous improvement processes.
*Completing other duties as assigned.
Asa Sterile Processing Tech/Instrument Tech, you will be responsible for:
*Performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.
*Preparing and delivering medical/surgical supplies, instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.
*Cleaning, Packaging, and processing surgical equipment and instrumentation.
*Maintaining inventory and storage of supplies in the core.
*Managing multiple computer applications to assist with sterilization tracking and processes.
*Operating and troubleshooting power equipment to process instruments(i.e. autoclaves, washer disinfector, ultrasonic cleaners).
