2022 Washington Leadership Program Session IV | Public Health & COVID-19: Our Stories
CAPAL's fourth virtual Washington Leadership Program session is, "Public Health & COVID-19: Our Stories."
This session will discuss the current state of public health, with a focus on the effects of COVID-19, within the AANHPI community. Topics of discussion include disparitiesin access to healthcare, variety of experiences and responses from the AANHPI community with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and AANHPI data disaggregation in regards to public health. Key takeaways of the discussion will allow attendees to gain a broader understanding of how issues within public health, especially pertaining to COVID-19, wield disproportionate and varying effects within the AANHPI community.
