Christopher James Lees, conductor. "Fathers and Sons" Exploring musically represented issues of heritage, tradition, and continuing lineage, the Contemporary Directions Ensemble opens its year with a tribute to the John Cage centenary year, the Michigan premiere of a work by U-M composition faculty Kristin Kuster, a continuation of the Berio Sequenza Project, and a presentation of John Adams\&##39; epic Son of Chamber Symphony.
