Hello incoming graduate student! Welcome to Michigan Engineering. We at GradSWE are excited to host an in-person Welcome Dinner for you and your new colleagues! The Welcome Dinner is traditionally one of our biggest and most popular events, providing a space for students to form lasting connections during their time in grad school. Come join us and meet new friends, win prizes, and relax a little while you enjoy some excellent food. We will also discuss how to get involved with GradSWE if you are interested and introduce some of our upcoming events. We are excited to meet you!

Given the demand for this event, RSVPs will open to first year graduate women and gendered minorities on August 15th, all graduate women and gendered minorities on August 22nd, and the entire engineering graduate community on August 29th. RSVP is required and will close on September 5th.

Finally, in order to accommodate as many people who wish to attend, please be sure to cancel your RSVP at least three days in advance if you can no longer make it. GradSWE at UM follows all campus guidelines regarding COVID19 safety practices. Thank you.
