In order to build and prepare an equitable and diverse talent pipeline, the STEM Hub for Industry Networking and Exchange (S.H.I.N.E.), a community-based initiative, provides primarily underrepresented students in higher education with the tools to combat barriers of entry to careers within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. An integral part of reducing these barriers is mentorship. Student are paired 1:1 with an industry professionalfor at least 5 months of mentoring to work on goals set by the student.
