For Chinese people, the Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhongqiu Jie) is a time to meet with family and friends and enjoy the beautiful full moon together. The Detroit Observatory and the Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies invite you to join us at the observatory for a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The evening will include presentations on the lunar surface features, moon exploration, tours of the Detroit Observatory and telescope observing of the moon. Families are welcome!
