Combating Anti-Asian Hate
Professor Melissa Borja is a faculty member in the Asian/Pacific Islander American Studies Program and lead researcher with the Stop Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Hate Reporting Center, a national effort to document and analyze coronavirus-related hate against Asian Americans. She will share her research as well as ways that graduate students and postdoctoral fellows can work to address anti-Asian racism as teachers, scholars, and community members.
