Plante Moran invites you to apply to our first annual BusinessAnalytics Case Study Competition!

CASE STUDY OVERVIEW:
You are to assume the role as members of the business analytics management consulting team at Plante Moran. You're received work from a new client, Sporty Sporting Company. Based on the client information provided and the informationgathered during your client meeting, your goal is help provide a solution meeting their needs.

The client information will be provided duringthe case study kick-off on Friday, September 30th. The members of the winning team will each receive one $100 Amazon gift card. Total estimated time commitment would be approximately 24-30 hours throughout the week spread amongst the 3-4 team members.

TIMELINE:
- Friday, September 30th1:oopm-2:00pm EST: case study kick-off (a minimum of 1 person per team must be present in order to participate)
- Tuesday, October 4th: Each team meets with the client for 30 minutes to ask any follow up questions (teams will be asked to come prepared to share their availability and timing will be solidified on 9/30)
- Friday, October 7th 10:00am-3:00pm EST: Each team virtually gives their final presentation to the client

PRESENTATION CRITERIA:
- Teams will have 10 minutes to virtually present their findings via Microsoft Teams assuming the role as business analytics consultants at Plante Moran to their client, Sporty Sporting Company.
- ThePlante Moran judges (Sporty Sporting Company) will have 10 minutes to askquestions and provide feedback.
- Teams will be graded on accuracy, creativity, critical thinking/problem solving, and overall presentation.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
- You’re a junior or senior studying business analytics, data science, information systems, business, or related fields
- You are interested in applying your analytical, problem solving,communication, and presentation skills
- You are interested in possible future opportunities with Plante Moran

APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Applications will be open from Thursday, September 1st – Wednesday, September 21st
- Each team must submit one application as a team via SurveyMonkey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/889HK6L) by Wednesday, September 21st
- Teams will be notified if selected to participate by Friday, September 23rd
- Teams must consist of 2-4 students in either their junior or senior year studying business analytics, data science, information systems, business, or related fields related field from select schools/colleges

Please note that one application should be submitted for each team. To submit an application, one must submit each team members name, email, major, and attach a copy of their resume. Students may only participate on one team.
