Once a month, WISE hosts a journal club for undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff to discuss recent research on STEM equity. Feel free to bring your lunch!

This month's article is "Examining the gender gap in engineering professional identification." How much do gender differences in affinity towards elements of professional practice contribute to the gender gap in engineering professional identification? In this session we will discuss how your enjoyment of tinkering, framing and solving problems, collaboration, analysis, design, and project management might impact your sense of identity as an engineer. Bring your experience or just your curiosity - all are welcome to join in the discussion.
