Virtual Cybersecurity Career Overview
Join CVS Health’s Women in Technology group on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. EDT for an overview of cybersecurity: what it is, why companies need it, and what different career paths look like in the industry.
The session features Daniel Torres, an Enterprise Information Security lead director at CVS Health, a Fortune 5 healthcare company dedicated to protecting the personal, health, and financial data of its customers and employees.
Daniel will explain what led him to pursue a career in the security industry and why students should consider it for themselves. The session offers a high-level yet detailed description of different cybersecurity roles and what their related responsibilities are.

Daniel Torres is an information security/cybersecurity professional. He has experience leading, guiding, and collaborating with cybersecurity and IT professionals to mature processes and technologies to meet business needs while ensuring compliance with industry's regulations and standards. Daniel is CISSP-, CISM-, CRISC-, and PCI ISA-certified.
