REAL TALK: Diverse Voices at SAS Software

Have you ever wanted to know what a genuine work culture lookslike? Do you have trepidations about job opportunities from companies that boast diversity, but fall short on the actual experience? Have you everfelt like you couldn’t ask the questions that truly mattered to you? Ifyou answered yes to any—or all—of these questions, then SAS has an invaluable opportunity for you!

SAS’ United in STEM Diversity Internship Program is designed to provide a valuable work experience for current students enrolled in an accredited degree program who are passionate about technology and eager to make an impact. The goal is to acclimate students to an inclusive work environment, receive mentorship and coaching, and make meaningful contributions to our organization.

We invite students who identify as having a disability or neurodivergent; Black or African American; Hispanic or Latin; Indigenous and other historically underrepresented students of color; LGBTQ+; women; and those with US military affiliation to join us for REAL TALK, a virtual event where you can learn about how to apply for the program and how SAS does Diversity& Inclusion! Here is what you can look forward to:

United in STEM Internship Overview + EIG Member Experience Panel (Tuesday, Sept 27 @ 5:30– 6:30pm EST)
SAS HR/TA representatives will provide a brief overview of our United in STEM program and answer any questions you may have about the opportunity. Following, a panel of SAS Employee Inclusion Group representatives will discuss their lived experiences and what it’s like to work at SAS. There will be time for an open Q&A!

1:1 with EIG Representatives (Wednesday, Sept 28th – Tuesday, Oct 4th)
In the days following the panel, you will be provided with a link to sign up for a 15 minute 1:1 meeting with an EIG representative. You will be able to choose which representative you would like to meet. This is a chance to get some REALTALK, so definitely take advantage of it!

This event is hosted by SAS for multiple universities. All students are invited to attend!

Please note: To qualify for our open United in STEM internship roles, applicants must be actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program and not graduating prior to Dec 2023. Applicants must also be legally authorized to work inthe United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
