Meet Sony Engineers: What is it like to work at Sony Japan? (University of Michigan)
Greetings from the Global Talent Acquisition Team at Sony HQ in Tokyo!
We welcome all current and recently graduated undergraduate,Master’s, and PhD students (and postdocs!) to join us in our upcoming event with Tokyo-based engineers from our Sony Group Corporation R&D Centers, as well as our teams at Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation), Sony Electronics Corporation (SEC), and Sony Semiconductor Solutions (SSS).
These engineers are sourced directly from teams hiring both interns and full-time employees for this year, so this is a wonderful opportunity to gain insight into some of the open listings included on our Global Careers webpage here: https://www.sony.com/en/SonyInfo/Careers/japan/
The above link includes all of the internship and full-time opportunities that are currently available in our Sony Group Corporation R&D Centers, andon our PlayStation, Consumer Electronics, Imaging, Semiconductor, andBiotechnology teams.
For context, these positions are open to STEM students including, but not limited to, those with backgrounds in ComputerScience, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics, and the Life Sciences.
Additionally, ALL positions will be based in Japan (in or around Tokyo), and we provide full financial and logistical support for obtaining visas as part of our onboarding process.
As a final note, interviews will be conducted in English, and 95% of our roles do NOT have Japanese language skill requirements (however, interest in Japanese culture isalways a plus!).
