The University of Michigan Polish Student Association is a student run organization with the purpose of spreading Polish culture on campus. We bring together students from all majors and backgrounds by organizing a wide variety of social and cultural events throughout the year. Each year, we host other cultural clubs in organizing Euro Cup, celebrate Wigilia, and organize the Wolverine Charity Ball.
Aside from all the events hosted by the club, the Polish Student Association works closely with the Polish American Congress in assisting them with the organization of the Annual Ann Arbor Polish Film festival. We have strong ties with the Center for Russian and Eastern European studies and help them accommodate various dignitaries who are invited from Poland and neighboring Slavic countries.
Each summer several of our members receive scholarships to travel to Poland to study the Polish language and culture or to complete an internship. The Polish Student Association is more than just a student organization, its a community in which each member is highly valued.
