An internationally renowned barbat and oud player,
Hossein Behroozinia graduated from the Tehran Conservatory of Music, where he also studied tar, setar, tonbak, and daf. He was the Director of Music Education at the Center of the Preservation Persian Music. In 2003, the Ministry of Culture of Iran decorated him with its highest honor, "The First Order of Arts."
