In these two lecture series, we'll delve into the world of microlocal analysis and its applications in dynamics. In the second lecture, we'll apply ideas and results from microlocal analysis to dynamics. We will prove weak mixing for the geodesic flow on a compact Riemannian manifold of negative curvature.
