Student Arithmetic: Masser-Wüstholz isogeny theorem

Calvin Yost-Wolff

For an abelian variety A defined over K with an isogeny from A to B over Qbar, Masser-Wüstholz isogeny theorem states that there is an isogeny from A to B of degree less than a polynomial expression in the height of A and degree of K over Q. I will overview a proof of this theorem and demonstrate several applications.
