Saturday Sampler | Greek and Roman Mythology
Linda Kimmel
The mythology of ancient Greece and Rome is filled with stories of gods, goddesses, heroes, and mythical creatures. In this tour, we’ll look at such artifacts as vases, lamps, and sarcophagi, with images of Athena, Herakles, Dionysus, and more, and consider how mythology was incorporated into the daily lives of ancient people.
