The University Philharmonia Orchestra honors the 150th anniversity of Rachmaninoff's birth, presenting his lush and powerful Symphony #2. The program also features works by Glinka and Puccini, as well as Diamond Rain by Michigan faculty member Roshanne Etezady.
With a string section comprising all freshmen, the Philharmonia Orchestra provides student musicians an immersive opportunity to improve their large ensemble skills and play some of the greatest works in the symphonic repertoire.
