Center for Academic Innovation Open Houses
Join us to explore academic innovation at the University of Michigan.
The Center for Academic Innovation (CAI) is hosting open houses on Sept. 20 and Sept. 27. Members of the campus community are invited to tour our new location at 317 Maynard Street, which will serve as the new home of academic innovation and collaboration at the University of Michigan.
You will have an opportunity to learn about our work in learning innovation, student success and equity, and building the infrastructure for our university’s blended future through educational technology, educational research, open online education, online and hybrid degrees, and extended reality production.
Take a walking tour of the nearly 50,000-square-foot facility and our new production studios, including a virtual production studio that allows us to film immersive, interactive learning experiences.
Try out our educational technology tools focused on student success. Gain a better understanding of how we partner with U-M schools and colleges to support learner outcomes on campus.
Explore recent innovations in online and hybrid learning, including the use of extended reality in open online learning courses focused on workforce development.
Discuss ideas that will drive teaching and learning forward with CAI and faculty colleagues.
Light refreshments will be served.
