For this “Read and Look,” the Kelsey is joining other Museums for All organizations and the Association of Children’s Museums to partner with the ultimate expert in all things fun, Nickelodeon, for “Our World: Worldwide Day of Play” on September 30, 2023. This event is dedicated to bringing opportunities for joyful learning through play to member museums and their communities, with a focus on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around!

Join us for a kid-friendly tour of the Kelsey Museum at our “Read and Look” program! We will begin by reading aloud The Museum, written by Susan Verde with illustrations by Peter H. Reynolds, then explore the galleries to find art and artifacts that make us want to sing, feel, dance, think, create, and connect with the people of the past. Take home a booklet of activities and coloring pages for further discovery. This tour is great for our younger visitors, ages 4–8. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
