ABOUT THE GUEST ARTISTS
Nuova Pratica is an ensemble of composer-performers that believes the music of the past is an important part of the future. Born out of Juilliard’s Historical Performance program, the members of Nuova Pratica specialize not only in the performance of European baroque music, but also in its composition and improvisation.
Free and open to the public. This performance is part of the 63rd Annual Organ Conference sponsored by the School of Music, Theatre & Dance. This program was made possible by a grant from the Arts Initiative at the University of Michigan. Additional support for this performance comes from the Marshall M. Weinberg Endowned Fund in Early Music.
