Student Dyn/Geo/Top: Building Manifolds out of Handles

I will be talking about constructing manifolds from handle attachment. The goal of the talk will be to show how this process elucidates concepts of Morse theory. We will also sketch a proof of the celebrated h-cobordism theorem, an important tool in the study of high dimensional manifolds.
