In this talk, we will take a look at various methods used to examine long time behavior of the Cubic NLS. We will begin with an overview of a few types of Normal Forms then look at using Iterative Methods instead. Each of these methods leads to varying results about the longtime behavior of a version of the Cubic NLS in a specific setting, which will be discussed. This talk will focus on the advantages and the disadvantages of each method rather than the proofs of the results we will state.
