In this talk, we will learn about Wave Kinetic Theory through the lens of the Cubic Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation. We will begin with an overview of the Wave Kinetic Equation and then talk about how one could prove that it holds. One of the major aspects of proofs used to establish Kinetic Theory is that the problem can be reduced to a counting problem of certain types of mathematical trees/molecules. We focus on the main steps of this reduction and the challenges we may encounter in the counting problem.
