Generic Torelli Theorem for degree d smooth Hypersurfaces

Demir Eken

The Generic Torelli theorem concerns the injectivity of the period map for non-singular hypersurfaces of degree $d$ in $\mathbb{P}^{n+1}$. This theorem is equivalent to determining whether an isomorphism of primitive cohomologies induces an isomorphism on the hypersurfaces. In this presentation, I will explore the historical development of this theorem as studied by Griffiths, Donagi, and Voisin, and provide an overview of its current state.
