Date: June 13, 2024
Time: noon PT / 3 PM ET

Description
Are you in the process of collecting your own research data, or plan to soon? Now is the perfect time to be thinking about the ways you can make this data usable by other researchers, thereby extending your research impact exponentially. In this session, we will discuss ways to make your research data ripe for secondary use. Topics we will cover include: data sharing platforms (repositories, archives, what’s the difference?), what makes data ‘FAIR’, data linkage, how you can use AI to produce good study metadata, and how to track the impact of your data as it is used by others.

Presenter:
Allyson Flaster

Director, AERA-ICPSR Education Research Data Sharing Initiative
