Chamber Symphonies
In the Contemporary Directions Ensemble's first concert of the season, John Adams' frenetic Son of Chamber Symphony is paired with a piece that inspired its composition: the even more frenetic Hindemith Kammermuski #1. The program also includes the premiere of Cole Reyes' Brehm Prize-winning composition burnt sienna, and Joan Tower's whimsical Petroushskates.
