Symphony Band Chamber Winds
Intercontinental Interludes
The Symphony Band Chamber Winds present a diverse program of substantial works for winds led by four of the current members of the band conducting graduate studio. Spanning the Atlantic Ocean, the first half starts in Europe with music by the great English composer Benjamin Britten and the Romanian Georges Enescu. We then land in Latin America to hear Amparo Angel and her stunning "Adagio" for solo English Horn and winds before concluding with music from legendary Mexican composer Silvestre Revueltas.
