Symphony Band Chamber Winds
The Symphony Band Chamber Winds kicks off the Winter/Spring season with a collection of works that span more than two centuries. From classic works by Rossini and the incredible Black composer from the Classical period, Joseph Bologne, to music by living and local composers, the graduate students and faculty from the Wind Conducting program at Michigan will lead the musicians of the Symphony Band in a more intimate setting. The concert concludes with the consortium premiere of a stunningly colorful new work by Jules Vaclavik entited Bifrost.
